I'd really like 2 or 3 more players before we start, just to let you all know

Well I was thinking about playing but I just don't have time to learn a new system  :( Maybe later in the summer.

Nice to see we are all one big happy family.  :D

Oh and re-reading my post, I noticed it was not very clear, the waste of oxgygen was aimed at sabreman. But I think its slightly better this way.

Ya got your jarheads confused: Saberman is the good guy, the engineer. June Montegomery is the jerk. The big angry guy.

But I agree, it was a nice way it all played out. Too bad my guy is an ass, otherwise he'd have been in the scene longer!

Hegemon, this makes me think (trouble!): In the SIU thread, there is a brief character bio section. Can we have one of those here? Might help avoid entertaining confusions like this one.

He's an engineer, not a jarhead.

Ok, Quick question, how do you guys want to play this, free style-story narative type where, you guys do all the leg work and i just answer things and report the situation, or would you like to be slightly rail-roaded/guided into it all?

But I'm loving the RP so far.

I wouldn't mind a cluex4 every now and then, but I think the free form action may be fun for this one. I mean, no matter what, once we're on the ship (assuming someone doesn't get killed before then!) we're going to be running into bad nasties around every turn right?

I think a mixture of both, let us run with bits. But when things start to drag/posting rate drops. Drop something in.

Right Now now children calm down.

two things.

1) Marc wouldn't know about Junes lack of abilitie in a sim as he wouldn't of stepped in one while being on the leander.
2) and secondly Alaras you didn't get 47 on ya dice rolls

let me explain it again, reference page 50 of the rule book
Quote
  • You may take the highest single roll eg, 7, 10 ,5, you would take the 10
  • You can take a set of multiples and add them together, eg 4, 4, 6 here you would take the 4, 4 and add them for 8
  • You can take anything that forms a straight on two or more dice, a straight is 2 or more numbers in consecutive order, EG 2, 3, 4, 8 here you could take the 2 3 and 4 to make 9.

This is why I'd like you to wait for certain rolls to be asked for, so we all are singing the same song sheet. also Combat tests are rolled against each other.

Also remember I can keep a track of your rolls, http://invisiblecastle.com/campaign/view/1162/
