Factory Satellite Brutus - Kawachi Dome: Neyagawa District
2061.09.03; mid-morning

Jacques-Burton puts her boots, guns and hat into Stonewall's backpack as he pulls out a pair of sneakers and plops them on the pavement in front of her.  They're well used and based on their size, are Stonewall's.  She finishes changing as Janos fishes a makeup removal pad out and immediately gets to work wiping the largest chunks of blood and guts from Jacques-Burton's face.

In a couple of minutes, Safron has changed from an obvious murderer to someone who you'd pass on the street without giving a second look.  Of course, with that second look, you'd start to notice out of place things, like streaks of blood in the hair.

The trio flee the area, and eventually make it to the CG-420 H. Ito.

The ship is staffed by a skeleton crew, so Stonewall leads them to the unused crew quarters section - not their regularly assigned quarters.

"Stay here," Stonewall orders.  Then asks, "What do you need from your quarters in the city?"

Major Stonewall watches the news while Janos gets the items that Jacques-Burton requested from her quarters in City 15 Replica.  He sees a report of the shooting, and the initially released sketch of the suspect.  It's a spitting image for Safron.

"What were you thinking," Stonewall grumbles to himself, "going there dressed for a show... you stood out like a f**king ingrown fingernail!"

He is royally pissed off when they return to Jacques-Burton's hiding spot on the H. Ito.  Upon entering, he glowers at her as he takes a step in and lets the door close behind him.

"What kinda sh*t are you into, girl?  Was it a deal gone bad?"

After a breath, he continuous, "doesn't matter... you've got to disappear.  Now.  As with your getup, the authorities will catch you soon... and that's only if the associates of the guy you iced don't get you first!"

Having given her a piece of his mind, his tension level noticeably decreases.  "You know any transport in Brutus?"

Jacques-Burton cautiously indicates that he does.

"Good," fumes Major Stonewall.

"Here's your starter cash," he says, as he fishes a thick envelope out of his pocket and tosses it to her.  Inside is a decent amount of money to get transportation off of Brutus and established in a new life.

In response to Jacques-Burton's questioning look, he says, "we found the other Fold Quartz crystal in your room and I sold it.  That cash is the remainder after my charges for services rendered."

He shakes his head slightly indicating regret, all the while keeping a steady gaze on her.  "You really should've talked with one of us before trying to make your own deal... those crystals you picked up are really high quality."

Raven takes a step back, opening the door.  "I trust you can find your own way back to Brutus...?  The next time we meet I won't be as friendly."

Major Stonewall quietly leaves.  Within a few hours, Jacques-Burton makes her own way to Brutus, and within half a day, she's disappeared off of the Factory Satellite.
