A difficult choice indeed...  Zed pulled up the schematics of the ship they were on up.  "Alright, there are no guarantee we'll make it to the nearest UN base anyways.  Here's what we're going to do.  Yoshimoto, T'tul, Hemmingway, Levi, and Fletcher, I want you all to prep the shuttle for launch.  We're going to Fioria and warning Captain Alfredo. As soon as we defold you are to launch and evade capture as best as possible.  The marines will meet you in the shuttle and help keep it secure.  Larson, Shan, Kavryn, and I will first head to the launch bays to see if there are any VFs left on board.  If there are we will prep them for launch in preperation for escape and escort of the shuttle.  If not...we'll buy you some time by tying up the personnell left on the ship until you are clear.  Then we'll blow the reactor.  I know this isn't what you all wanted to hear, but the Secter Seven Pirates are too large a threat for us to lose such ground in fighting them.  I'm open to suggestions to make this work.  Commander, any codes you have to secure our routes throughout the ship, and to disable the weapons, would best be used now.  Lock down as much as you can."

Zed looked to his pilots, and his commander, gazing into each of their eyes.  What they saw in his was determination and strength.  Any uncertainty left from what day it was and their trip through time was gone.  He had a job to do and people to protect.

Shan was initially shocked to heard Yoshimoto's words. What kind of choices are those?! It was choosing between the lives of many of their comrades, failure of their mission either way. There had to be another way......

As he clenched his fist several times unconsciously, trying to think of other options, Zed spoke up, breaking Shan out of his despair. Meeting his eyes, Shan felt renewed hope surge through his body. That's right.... we're only defeated if we give up. We still have a chance to make it right. The best defense is a good offense, right?

"Sir, can we lock down the engines after setting the fold co-ordinates? We can then destroy the bridge controls, so that they will be unable to change the destination. We'll have to lock down the weapons systems as well, to ensure that the shuttle can escape. I propose we go along with your plan. But to have the marines hold down engineering. Our team will take the PAs and hold the launch bays to ensure the shuttle launch. Once we're out of fold, the marines can shut down or destroy the engines to cut power to the ship. Without life support, artificial gravity and ship weapons, the ship's crew will be severely hampered, while us in the PAs will have a much better advantage. We can then launch a distress beacon, which will be picked up, hopefully by friendly forces. Eitherway, we'll have a much better chance of survival since we'll have the shuttle outside the ship, as well as a beacon broadcasting our location to anyone nearby. Also, the marines can use escape pods to escape from the ship and be picked up by the shuttle once they have disabled the engines. The remaining PA in the launch bays can then use any available spacecraft or VFs to make good our escape, leaving the crew with a crippled ship." Shan looked up at his CO, with a wryly smile playing across his lips as if to say, 'whatever happens, i'm in it all the way.'

From her position on the bridge together with the rest of the Wraiths Mjuiri stared out through the viewports at the black space outside as Commander Yoshimoto spoke of their choices. What she felt wasn't really shock but its effects where similar. She had almost come to expect things like these to happen. As Captain Cassel spoke of his battleplan Mjuiri looked at the mysteriously injured T'tul and then stared out into space. You really have something against the Zero-G's, no? Either that or me... Mjuiri thought solemnly. Everyone around her that she had known for some time seemed to die off one by one, and now Captain Cassel might have made a decision that put the final nail in T'tul's coffin.

Turning back to the group and looking into the determined eyes of her CO she knew his mind was made up, and she doubted any of the wraiths would oppose him. She could voice her oppinion but that would only serve to diminish whatever morale was left in their little group.

"Well we have our plan, so lets get to it. The faster we move the greater our chance of success. Levi, Hemmingway can any of you give an estimate to how much time we have until we lose T'tul?"

Mjuiri didn't want to be the one to ask the question. But it had to be done. If there where no way they would be able to save T'tul they might have to consider easing T'tul's pain and disposing of the extra weight.

OoC: Unless otherwise told, I will assume Quinn stayed in his PA.  Might have had to duck getting through some of the doors, but he would have thought it was worth it.

IC:

Quinn hefted his rifle from where he stood near the door.  "Just point the way to the hangar.  I'll get a head start on clearing it out.  Maybe I can drop by some of the other compartments you saw the enemies near and clear them out too."  Anyone could tell he was getting irritable.  The idea of having over 50 enemies on the same ship as him was enough to tick him off.  Now he just would have liked a smaller Armor.  This thing was quick, but kinda bulky.
