"Jacobson can you have a look at the scrawls on the walls, Thealk we're gunna make a human ladder and see out that window, your base, i'll be the second rung and frayzer looks out the window, got it people... Lets go then chop chop!"

"Right," Jacobson says, holding his head as he stands up.  He's got a faint headache, and is still woozy from the Zatt blast that took them out.

As he examines the wall, he marvels, "golly, gee... looks like Egyptian... holy cow!  It's from the third dynasty!"

Jacobson says it in a way that implies that it's an important discovery, and the others should already know the significance of it.

They make a human ladder.  Thealk doesn't mind the test of strength and endurance.  Neil is more than happy to get a bit of up-close-and-personal contact with Frayzer, much to her chagrin, as she crawls up him, and climbs over him.

At the window, Frayzer can just see over the window sill.  Below, she can make out a larger chamber.  From the distance of the window to the opposite wall, she guesses it's on the scale of a large hangar.  Large macron scale hangar.

On the bottom are a dozen various people in various traditional garb from a variety of Earth's cultures.  Guessing from their density, she surmises that either the rest of the room is crammed full of stuff, or that there are one to two hundred macron-sized people down there.

Everyone is looking around with intense fear in their eyes.  There are only a couple of clusters of people - and the people in each group are wearing similar garb.

There's a sound of heavy footsteps outside the room.  The trio quickly hop down and disassemble their human ladder.

Moments later, the door slides open.  In walks a tall man in Jaffa armour with a gold mark on his forhead.  He is flanked by two other guards, both with staff weapons, and with a black tattoo version of the gold symbol on their foreheads.

The lead Jaff leans over, and opens his closed hand, dropped Cartie about 1 or 2 m to the ground.  Cartie groans and appears to be regaining consciousness.

There are large holes and blood on his shirt.  Blood has also dropped onto his pants.  Outwardly, Cartie looks uninjured.

The Jaffa with the gold symbol looks at SG-1 with disdain.  He hisses, "pitful", before barking, "Jaffa, kree!"

The two Jaffa flanking him jump to attention and follow the leader out.  The door quickly slides shut behind them.

Jacobson dashes over to Cartie, lifting his head off the ground and cradling it.  He yells, "Frayzer!  Get over here and take a look at him!"

Cartie moans and mumbles something incoherent.

Jacobson says in a comforting voice, "what happened, buddy?"

Cartie gasps, as his eyes flash wide open from a horrific memory.  "I was tortured!  To death!  The glowing eyes!  Dropping acid on my chest!  Asking... asking me who we were... where we came from... the pain!  Oh god!"

Cartie rolls off of Jacobson's lap and curls up into a ball, shivering, as his eyes stare blankly at one of the walls.

Frayzer checks out Cartie.  She quickly turns to Neil, "sir, he's uninjured.  Perhaps it was a mix of chemical and psychological torture?"

"No!" yells Cartie.  "It was real!  I could feel the acid burning through my chest... through my lungs, my heart... oh god!"

Cartie passes out from reliving the trauma.

Frayzer gives Neil a look - one that shows she is at a complete loss.  She then focuses her complete attention on Cartie, attempting to revive him.  Cartie begins to regain consciousness.

Jacobson waves to get Neil's attention.  "Mike, look, here!  No, the one to the left!  Yeah... that one!  It says god Skanda!  I think we're in a ship owned or built by Skanda!"

Jacobson takes note of Neil's blank expression, "Skanda, the Hindu god of war.  He defeated Surapadman in the Mahabharata.  You know..."

Jacobson is cut off by the now-familiar sound of Jaffa boots approaching.

Cartie is conscious enough to stand up with Frayzer's help, and they head over to stand near Neil and Thealk.

Thealk speaks, "indeed.  It appears they have come to take another of us for torture."

The door slides open, and a large, even for macron scale, man in a red cloak enters.  His face is hidden in the shadow of his cloak, but his eyes glow that eerie yellow, indicating he is Goa'uld.  He is escorted by 5 Jaffa.

Two of the Jaffa quickly get on either side of the Goa'uld, between him and SG-1.  They bark, and wave their staffs at SG-1 saying, "Cree!  Bow to your god Skanda!"

SG-1 just looks blankly at the Jaffa and Skanda.

The Jaffa look angered and also baffled that they are not being obeyed.  They move in to stomp on SG-1 when the 5th Jaffa, the one with a golden mark on his forehead belows, "Jaffa!  Cree!"

The two Jaffa stop and stand rigidly at attention.

"Cree!" barks the one with the gold symbol.  The two Jaffa quickly move back to positions flanking Skanda.

Skanda smiles evilly.  He raises his hand, revealing a gold apparatus wrapped around it, with a jewel in the middle.  The jewel glows, and accompanying a buzzing noise, SG-1 feels an intense weight on their shoulders.  They have no choice but to fall to their knees.

Skanda chuckles.  "Pitful, weak microns with your even more pitiful Zentraadi derived technology!  It is by my grace that you are still alive!"

Skanda sneers as he mentally increases the pressure on SG-1, forcing everyone down onto their hands and knees.  Skanda chuckles with satisfaction as he deactivates the hand device.

"Kleat," Skanda says.

"Yes, m'lord", Kleat, the Jaffa with the gold mark, responds, as he heads to the wall with the window, and presses a hidden switch.

The wall opens up and slides into the other walls.  There is now a clear view of the people below, all looking up at the sound of the wall opening.

Below, a dozen Jaffa enter the chamber, with their staff weapons ready.  They hit and push some of the people to clear a path in the center.

Skanda walks up to the edge, and yells, "loyal servants!  Choose your hosts for your offspring!"

Into the room come 5 or 6 couples dresses in stone age and bronze age luxury clothes.  They wander through the hundred or so people, carefully inspecting each one.

Skanda nods at Kleat.

Kleat opens his staff weapon, charges it and points it at the microns.  "To the edge!" he shouts.

When SG-1 doesn't obey, he fires a blast that's close enough to singe their hair and knock them off their feet, but far enough away to not do any permanent damage.

SG-1 gets back on their feet and heads to the edge.  It's a long way down.

Skanda looks at SG-1, his eyes settle on Neil.  "Tell me where you come from, or I kick your friends over the edge."

Neil hisses, "don't tell him anything!"

Skanda yells, "Tell me now, or...!"

Just then, the door opens, and an aide enters.  The aide looks nervous.  "Master Skanda," he says as he bows.  "Muh-at's servant has finished the transition to a macron, and has revived."

Skanda's scowl curls at the lips into an evil smile.  "Good.  As he was in the same uniform as these 5, he'll be able to answer all my questions with a mind probe."

Skanda turns to Kleat, "kill them all."

Just then, one of the Jaffa from below yells up, "Master Skanda, the loyal servants have finished selecting their hosts."

Skanda looks down and smiles wickedly.  "Kill all of them, too."

Skanda leaves, followed by the 4 other Jaffa.

Kleat waves his staff toward a platform on one side of the room.  "Move!"  He barks.

SG-1 moves to the platform, and Kleat activates it with a press of a button hidden on the wall.  The platform begins moving downwards.  It's an elevator that's taking them to join the hundred or so other prisoners about to be executed!

Neil was flabeghasted by what had just transpired,

"Move!" barked the Macron, as the pltform began to lower, neil saw all the people below, he startyed to think, 'all these people are gunna die,', he quickly turned the the Macron and shouted up at him, "Are you really ok with all these people dieing, We can save them, but we'll need your help, help us save them."

Neal felt like pleading more but was afraid it may fall on deaf ears.

"Are you really ok with all these people dieing, We can save them, but we'll need your help, help us save them."

Kleat stares intently at Neil, then looks at the rest of SG-1.  He then turns away and stares straight ahead, ignoring the SG team.

At the bottom of the elevator, he gets off, and barks at the other Jaffa to form a firing line.  The civilians are all huddled together along one wall.

Kleat waves his staff weapon at SG-1 and indicates that they should head off behind the elevator.  Their battroids are standing along the wall in that direction.  There are no gun pods, but it looks like the rest of the VFs have been untouched and are undamaged.

Kleat hisses at Neil, "many have said that."

He whirls around, activating his staff weapon, and then yells over his shoulder,  "you're the first I believe!"

With that, he shoots the closest Jaffa guard in the chest, toppling him over and killing him.  Kleat tosses his staff at Neil's feet, and then grapples another Jaffa.  The other Jaffa power up their staff weapons, take aim on Kleat, and pause.

Thealk smacks the others shoulders, and whispers, "quickly!"

He leads SG-1 back to their battroids.  They get in, and Neil picks up the staff weapon.  Thealk flatly says, "too dangerous for missiles."

Cartier yells, "use your beam guns!"

Thealk took Romane Hand and run in the direction of his VF-19D and help her climb the battroid to the cockpit, where the controls had automaticly set themselves to standby since the long moment without command input. A quick look at his status screen show that all systems where operational, but the gunpod and the Zat where noted absent. His screen was crawling of Macron-sised peasant and he set the targeting computer to lock on the Jaffa, who also where the ones with armors and weapon, so the sensor find them more easily. However, he quickly note that if missiles where fired, they path would probably harm innocent before touching the jaffa.

"Too dangerous for missiles" He said flatly.

Cartier ansered: "use your beam guns!"

"Understood"

He began his move, advancing in the direction of the Jaffas who are firering at the prisoniers and fired his hips REB-23 beam guns at one of them. Behind him, Romane locked her restraints and activated the sensors.

"How will we get out of there?"

"Try to find an wall with acess to the outside"

"Got-it!"

She scan the place, trying to determine the disposition of the structure. Thealk fire again, then stop next to a dead Jaffa to take one of these staff weapon. He armed it, take aim at another Jaffa, and fire.

Actions:

VF-19D Kai Battroid Mode

Thealk:

1: Advence in the direction of the Jaffas with Sheild raised and PPB on it / Fire REB-23 beam guns at one Jaffa
2: If the Jaffa is still up, fire REB-23 on him again, if not, fire on another Jaffa / stop near a Staff weapon
3: Grab a Staff weapon and arm it
4: Fire Staff weapon at a Jaffa

Romane:

1&2: Scan the aera to find a way out or an exterior wall.

EDIT: edited out the extraneous full returns.

"you're the first I believe!"

As the Staff like weapon fell at his feet, Neil smiled, he had got through to the giant, picking up the staff he had a quick look over it and fumbled around with it while he pointed at the other guards, hoping he'd be able to operate this new weapon.

Actions
1) Pick up staff
2) Aim at guards while looking for the trigger
3) Possibly fire again at another guard.

Neil picks up the staff weapon and quickly looks it over.  He spots a large nob on it and immediately ascertains that it is the trigger.

Thealk advances his VF-19 and fires the REB-23 at the closest Jaffa, taking him completely by surprise, and blasting a pair of holes into his chest.

Cartie does the same with the fixed machine guns.  She just barely catches the surprised Jaffa with a pair of 10 r bursts, and the Jaffa goes sprawling in a shower of sparks from the ricocheting bullets.

Jacobson momentarily pauses, and says, "but... but... ah, screw it!"  He unleashes the same attack and sends another Jaffa sprawling to the floor.  Dead.

Kleat continues choking the Jaffa he's holding, until the Jaffa chokes to death.

Neil presses the nob, and is a bit surprised when a plasma ball forms and blasts out of the tip of the staff weapon, hitting the remaining Jaffa in the side, and bowling him over.

Frayzer scans the area looking for a concealed switch on the walls.  She has no luck.

Kleat yells at both SG-1 and the civilians, "Follow me!"  He indicates one of the walls and when the civilians start heading toward it, he trots over and presses a concealed switch.

The wall opens to reveal a hallway with walls angled inwards toward the top, and covered with gold Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Kleat waves at SG-1 again, "this way!  He starts leading the civilians out of the room.

Jacobson asks Neil, "what do we do chief?  Do we trust him?"

Cartier adds, "he did save us," as he picks up a staff weapon and Zatt from the fallen guards.  He tosses the weapons at a pair of tough looking civilians that have come to see for themselves the fallen Jaffa.

"For now we trust him, We'll chat later and see what he says then.." Neil says as he starts to follow the Giant, as he does this he looks at the walls everywhere and thinks to himself 'they really do have an odd sense of wall decoration here.'

"This men had the courage to stop a bloodsheld by defying his own servitude to his masters. He have my respect. This is a man of honor."

Cartie nods in agreement.

"For now we trust him, We'll chat later and see what he says then.."

Jacobson cocks one head to the side, thinking over Neil's instructions.  After a moment, he nods in agreement.

They follow the civilians through the exit.  Neil indicates that he and Cartie will bring up the rear, and that Jacobson should watch the middle.  He sends Frayzer and Thealk to the front, with Kleat.

After a couple of turns, they arrive at a guarded door.  Kleat indicates that everyone should wait out of sight.

He stands up and casually walks toward the door.  He barks, "Jaffa, kree!"

The two guards bolt to attention.  As they are moving, Kleat pulls out his Zat, and zats the two.

He then waves SG-1 over to him.  He says, "the gate is guarded by 4 Jaffa warriors.  I'll do the same thing as I just did inside, but you will have to take out the other Jaffa warriors."

Without waiting, Kleat heads in.

The battroids of SG-1 wait just around the edge of the last door.  Kleat pulls the same move, but this time he can only zat one of the guards before he must dive behind cover.

The distraction is enough for SG-1 to jump into the room, and zat or shoot the remaining 3 guards.

Jacobson rushes over to the stargate, and hammers in a code.

As the gate opens, he yells, "safe planet!  It's the one with the purple sky!"

Kleat, Cartie and Thealk stay behind to guard the rear as Neil and Jacobson lead the civilians through the gate to safety.

The lightly forested planet with a light purple hued sky is exactly the same as it was when SG-1 last visited.  The 3 moons are still in the sky, albiet the one with the rings is low on the horizon.

After the last civilian is through the gate, the remaining 3 jump through, and it closes.

Kleat assists in dialling the home planets of the civilians, and they all get sent home within 30 to 60 minutes.

Afterwards, as SG-1 prepares to dial Lantea, Kleat stands moping.  He obviously looks like he has no idea what to do with himself.

Jackson radios the others, "What do we do with him?"

Cartie responds, "I think we should take him with us.  Without him, we couldn't have escaped..."

location: in front of the stargate

"Come on big guy, come with us and then you can decide what you want to do from there, ok?"

Kleat timidly smiles back.  It looks like he hasn't smiled in ages and is out of practise.  It also looks like he hasn't experienced kindness in ages, either.

SG-1 and Kleat return to Lantea.  Upon arrival, Kleat is separated, and taken away under guard, despite SG-1's protests.

SG-1 is immediately summoned to Major General Hammond, and they are promptly debriefed.  Hammond asks for their estimation of the threat level, technical ability, and war making potential of the enemy.

{OOC: feel free to embellish your post with this information.}

After the briefing is concluded, Hammond and his aides look worried.  Nevertheless, they still dismiss SG-1 for a decent chunk of downtime, as they've "earned it".
